Climate Smart

The Township of Langley together with Metro Vancouver, the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce, and Climate Smart invite you to join a group of businesses cutting costs by cutting carbon.

Climate Smart helps local businesses reduce their carbon footprint while cutting costs. Develop strategies to save on energy costs, improve operational efficiencies, and engage employees by registering for:

  • three half-day training sessions
  • a web-based software application
  • one-on-one energy-reduction advice

Climate Smart trains key staff and provides businesses with the support to become more competitive in an era of carbon regulation and volatile energy prices. In a collaborative learning environment, your staff will draw on the experience of other businesses and apply tools to measure and profitably reduce your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

To support local businesses, the Township of Langley, together with Metro Vancouver, is offering a generous subsidy to significantly reduce the program fee. For a limited time, Township businesses qualify for a $1,000 subsidy, reducing the program fee to $250 to $1,000, depending on the size of your business.

Climate Smart Learning Outcomes

Learn how to:

  • quantify your environmental initiatives and go even greener
  • analyze your business to reduce waste in your operations and boost your bottom line
  • assess your business’ environmental impact and reduce it meaningfully
