Dog Licences

All dogs living in the Township of Langley must have a dog licence.

Required Information

When making application for a new dog licence, have the following information ready:

  • breed
  • dog name
  • gender
  • colour
  • veterinary certificate of neuter/spay
  • tattoo location (if applicable)

New and renewal dog licences can be obtained at the following Township facilities:

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • cash
  • cheque
  • debit card
  • American Express/MasterCard/Visa
  • online - renewals only 

Annual Renewals

Access the Townships secure online Dog Licences Renewal page. 

Annual dog licence renewals are mailed to dog owners in November or December. If paid by February 1, there is a significant cost reduction as noted in the fee schedule below:

Spayed or neutered dog* $21 $31
Non-spayed or non-neutered dog $50 $60
65+ years owner of spayed or neutered dog* $14 $24
65+ years owner of non-spayed or neutered dog $29 $39

*proof of neuter/spay by means of a veterinary certificate is required for first time applications
