The mandate of the Human Resources Division is to formulate and manage the Township's Human Resource Program. The key components of the program are:
- contract negotiations
- collective agreement administration
- staffing of union and exempt vacant positions
- administering employee compensation and benefits
- coordinating and providing training and development opportunities
- advising on employee relations and labour relations issues
- providing job evaluation services
- coordinating employee occupational health and safety matters
