Human Resources

The mandate of the Human Resources Division is to formulate and manage the Township's Human Resource Program. The key components of the program are: 

  • contract negotiations
  • collective agreement administration
  • staffing of union and exempt vacant positions
  • administering employee compensation and benefits
  • coordinating and providing training and development opportunities
  • advising on employee relations and labour relations issues
  • providing job evaluation services
  • coordinating employee occupational health and safety matters
