Providing residents with the best possible quality of life is a priority for the Township of Langley. That means offering services, programs, and amenities to make the community a great place to live, work, and play. It also means taking steps to ensure it stays that way for many generations to come.
The Sustainability Charter is the result of research, expert advice, and community input. It presents a vision of the community that meets the social/cultural, economic, and environmental needs of current residents while ensuring those needs can continue to be met for future residents.
The Sustainability Charter inspires all residents to think, make decisions, and act with an eye to the future as they go about their daily lives.
The Township of Langley Council adopted the Sustainability Charter on June 23, 2008.
