The Township of Langley is partnering with the CleanBC Better Homes Community Energy Coach to give Township residents information on what a heat pump is, how to find a program registered contractor, and what rebates and financial supports are available.  Join us on October 19 to learn more!

Rebates and Incentives

One of the most significant ways for Township residents to decrease their energy usage and GHG emissions is by completing energy efficiency upgrades on their homes. Below are Township, Fortis BC, BC Hydro, and provincial rebates that will help lessen the cost-burden of these upgrades.

Additional Rebates

Near Zero Emissions Building Program (for homeowners and builders)

Building a highly energy efficient home (Step 4/5 or Passive House) with a heat pump for space heating? Share your project information from design, construction and the first year of occupancy in exchange for financial compensation. Visit the NearZero website for more information and to apply.

Preference will be given to projects scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020.

Funded by the Province of BC and administered by the Zero Emissions Building Exchange (ZEBx).
