Facility and Park Status

The Township is following the four-phased 'BC’s Restart Plan' announced by the Provincial Government on moving BC through the COVID-19 pandemic. Some park facilities are now open, while others remain closed as social distancing is not possible, or the use of shared equipment is required. As we advance through the phases of BC’s Restart Plan we will review and update this information. Park facilities listed under the Closed heading are not available for public use. The health and safety of all community members and employees are our top priorities. Read the most recent Community Update on the Township of Langley’s COVID-19 Response and Restart.

Civic, Recreation, and Culture Facilities

All decisions on opening will be considered in the context of employee health and safety, WorkSafeBC regulations, community focus and public confidence, and financial impact/viability. While health and safety are the primary focus, it is important to note that as programs and services are assessed for reopening, non-essential operations and programs that have been reduced may not be resumed if they are not financially viable. We will do our best to provide clear information, as available, so check back regularly for updates. Please understand that calling or emailing Parks and Recreation will not result in additional information.
