Summer Nights in the Township

Join us every week in July and August for free and low-cost outdoor events happening throughout the Township of Langley!

Concerts at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre every week will showcase talented musicians from various genres, while Outdoor Movies in the Parks will feature family-friendly films. New this year, the Langley Community Farmer’s Market will be on-site every Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30pm with a diverse group of makers, bakers, farmers, small businesses and more.

On Family Fun Nights, join us at Lynn Fripps Park and Philip Jackman Park to enjoy a foam party*, bouncy castles, games, activities, food trucks, a DJ spinning hit music and more!

Be prepared to get wet and wild in our Community Water Fight at the spray park at Willoughby Community Park! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to participate. Bring your water gun or any type of water-dispensing device to soak your ‘opponents!’ Water balloons and replica-looking guns are not permitted.

Our popular waterpark special events return to The Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Community Centre!

  • Everyone can enjoy the unique experience of our dive-in theatre! Bring your inflatable floatie and float around Breaker Bay or relax poolside while watching a family-friendly movie on the big screen.
  • Adults (ages 19+) can experience the waterpark in a kid-free atmosphere while enjoying local craft beer and wine at our Sip ‘n Dip events.
  • Youth, ages 13 to 18, will take over the waterpark for two nights where they can have fun in a kid-free and parent-free environment on Youth Nights.
  • Adults and children can spend time together and create lasting memories on Family Nights.

*The foam used at the foam parties is a natural, surfactant blend, foam powder solution that is mixed with water to create bubbles. It has no fragrances, no dyes, no animal ingredients, and no phosphates added. The solution does not cause harm to eyes, skin or the environment.
