Building Inspections
Final documentation must be submitted to the Building Official 48 hours prior to the final inspection. Failure to submit all final documents will result in a delay in both the required inspection and receiving an accepted final inspection.
All building permit inspection requests must be submitted through eInspections. This system, provides an efficient way to schedule, cancel, and reschedule your building inspection requests. This online service is accessed through your MyTownship account using an access code.
Sign-up or Sign-in to MyTownship
A MyTownship account is required to schedule a building inspection. A 4-6 digit access code is provided by the owner/builder/applicant at the time of submitting the building permit application (located on the building permit application form). This access code is required to link the building permit to your MyTownship account.
Requesting an access code
If you did not previously request an access code, the owner/builder/applicant can request an access code here. You must request the access code using the same email address that was provided for inspection notices. Only one access code per building permit is issued; therefore, it is up to the builder/owner/applicant to distribute the access code to the trades. Any trades required to request a building inspection will require the access code to link the permit(s) to their own MyTownship account. The access code is only needed at the time the builder and/or trade registers the building permit with their MyTownship account.
