Learn how a developer, municipality, and Energy Advisor adapted to building, permitting, and designing to the BC Energy Step Code in an engaging and interactive panel discussion in the Township of Langley.
Attend the Permitting and Inspecting a Step 5 Project workshop to hear from the Township of Langley, Streetside Developments and E3 ECO Group (energy consultants) on their experiences with the permitting and inspection processes for high performance townhome targeting Step 5, EL-4 of the Zero Carbon Step Code, and CHBA Net Zero Energy-Ready compliance.
This workshop is intended for Building Officials and other stakeholders linked to the successful deployment and implementation of the BC Energy Step Code. It will include lessons learned from the project, a tour of the home mid-construction, and a mid-construction air tightness test.
Learner audience
The primary learner audience are Building Officials and Municipal Regulators with and without experience implementing the Step Code.
