Public Hearings
Township of Langley Council, in accordance with Local Government Act and Council Policy regulations, provides the opportunity for the public to present input on proposed development applications. Council considers all information received at a Public Hearing (written and verbal) prior to making a decision on each proposed development application. Council is not permitted to receive further input following the conclusion of a Public Hearing.
How can I provide input?
If you believe your property is affected by the proposal, the following options are available to you:
- Register to speak at the Public Hearings, sign up online. (Electronic sign up is prior to 6:00pm the day of the hearing, after 6:00pm please sign up in person)
- Send a submission in writing to Legislative Services at 20338 - 65 Avenue, Langley, BC, V2Y 3J1, or by email to legservicesinfo@tol.ca.
- View the Public Hearing online.
Written submissions will be accepted up to and during the Public Hearing, and will form part of the public record. For more information, contact Legislative Services at 604-533-6100.
