Are you looking to volunteer in the community where you work, live and play? Gain a greater sense of pride, belonging and community spirit by volunteering for these opportunities:

Adopt-a-Program

Keep the community beautiful. Be a part of Adopt-a-Program! Choose a street, park, trail or creek. You pick up the litter; we provide the cleaning supplies, safety information and garbage removal. This is a great program for individuals, groups, businesses or schools. Email adopt@tol.ca to get involved. 

Recycling Ambassador

Are you an advocate for recycling and live in a multi-family complex? Are you interested in helping your neighbours gain a better understanding of recycling and waste reduction? Volunteer to be a Recycling Ambassador to improve recycling knowledge and increase waste reduction in your building/complex. Email ambassador@tol.ca to get involved.

Recreation

For volunteer opportunities with the Recreation division, please email volunteer@tol.ca.

To get involved, complete a Volunteer Application and Volunteer Liability Waiver.

The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 12 years old.

Arts and Culture, including salishan Place by the River

For volunteer opportunities with salishan and arts, culture and museum programs, contact the Recreation, Arts and Culture division at volunteer@tol.ca.

To get involved, complete a Volunteer Application and Volunteer Liability Waiver.

The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 12 years old.

Emergency Support Services (ESS)

Do you like to help people in times of crisis? If yes, you should consider joining the Emergency Support Services (ESS) program in the Township of Langley.

We’re looking for dedicated volunteers who will provide direct support to evacuees displaced by emergencies.
