Willoughby Community Centre

Overview

The Township of Langley has identified the need for a new Community Centre to be located in the Willoughby neighbourhood.  This new facility is presently planned to include:

• a new community aquatic centre with 37.5m lap pool

• leisure and hot pool

• fitness facility

• gymnasium
• library
• multipurpose rooms
• and other supporting community recreation spaces.

This is part of broader enhancements for the Willoughby community including major upgrades and additions to Yorkson Community Parks North and South. Read more about that here.

Open house - September 25, 2025

Thank you to all those who attended the open house to learn more about this exciting project, and the Yorkson Community Park South enhancements, and provided feedback on both of those projects.

Location: Lynn Fripps Elementary School, 21020 - 83 Avenue, Langley

The information provided by the community will be collated and summarized for review by the Township and may inform the future development of the project.
