FIFA Arena Mini-pitch Opens in the Township

The Township of Langley is now home to Canada’s first-ever FIFA Arena mini-pitch. Through a partnership with FIFA, Canada Soccer, and BC Soccer, the Township was chosen to receive the pitch, provided by FIFA, a testament to the growing soccer hub the Township has become.

Mayor and Council gathered with representatives of FIFA, Canada Soccer, BC Soccer, LUSA, students, and community partners to open the new mini-pitch beside the Langley Events Centre.

The new FIFA Arena mini-pitch is part of a worldwide initiative committed to building 1,000 mini-pitches across the globe, and is available to use by our community at any-time. The pitch is located south of the pickleball courts.
