Summer Nights in the Township Brings Music, Movies, and Family Fun All Season Long

Summer evenings are made for live music, outdoor movies, family fun, and time spent together in your community. This July through September, Summer Nights in the Township returns with a lineup of free and low-cost events taking place throughout the Township of Langley.

From concerts at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre and outdoor movie nights under the stars, to Family Fun Nights and special events at The Outdoor Experience, residents and visitors of all ages can enjoy a variety of experiences throughout the season.

Thursday evenings come alive at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre with free outdoor concerts, starting at 6:30pm. The Langley Community Farmer’s Market will be on-site each Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30pm, giving attendees the opportunity to browse local produce, artisan goods, food, and more.

Families can enjoy movie nights at Township venues, featuring family-friendly films in unique outdoor settings. Family Fun Nights at Philip Jackman Park, Josette Dandurand Northeast Latimer Park, and James Hill Park will feature foam parties, inflatable activities, face painting, games, food trucks, and other entertainment, with the season finale including an outdoor movie under the stars.

The Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Community Centre will once again host a series of popular themed events throughout the summer. From Dive-In Movie Nights and Family Nights to Youth Nights and adults-only Sip 'n Dip evenings, these events offer unique ways to experience the waterpark. Advance registration is required, with registration opening seven days before each event.

With something happening nearly every week throughout the summer, residents can choose from live entertainment, family activities, outdoor films, and waterpark experiences across the Township.
