
Township Streamlines Annual Business Licence Renewals
The Township of Langley is making it easier for businesses to stay on top of their licences. Starting January 1, 2026, all business licences will renew annually on the same date, with expiry on December 31. This change simplifies the process, streamlines administration, and ensures that all renewal notices are sent at the same time each year.
A mailout has been sent to business owners with information about the new renewal cycle and how to sign up for e-billing. By signing up for e-billing, businesses can receive their renewal notices instantly by email, pay fees online, and keep records organized and accessible, all while helping reduce paper waste. Renewal notices will also continue to be mailed for those who prefer paper.
Businesses are encouraged to mark their calendars for January 1 and take advantage of the online payment options using their new account number and access code found on their invoice.
