Traffic impacts and road closure: 208 Street between 72 Avenue and 76 Avenue, April 22 to 27

As part of the 208 Street road widening project, the following traffic impacts and road closure will be in effect from April 22 to 27. Traffic delays are expected so please plan for additional time for your commute. All work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled or extended as required. 

Traffic impact: 208 Street between 72 Avenue and 76 Avenue, April 22 to 27
Paving work on 208 Street between 72 Avenue and 76 Avenue will result in deactivation of traffic signals at intersections and the use of certified traffic control personnel to manage traffic movements at the intersections via single lane alternating traffic on April 22 to 27 from 7am to 8pm. 

Road closure: 76 Avenue between 208 Street and 209 Street on April 23 and 76 Avenue between 207 Street and 208 Street on April 27
76 Avenue between 208 Street and 209 Street will be closed on April 23, and 76 Avenue between 207 Street and 208 Street will be closed to traffic on April 27. Both closures will be in effect from 7am to 8pm. Detour routes will be in effect and indicated by signage.
