Yorkson Community Park North Campus Opens
Families from across the Township gathered to celebrate opening the Yorkson Community Park north campus on Saturday, with $20.5 million in upgrades and new additions.
On Saturday, May 7, 2026, Township of Langley Mayor and Council turned on the water at the new accessible spray park, and officially opened the new accessible playground, as the community enjoyed music, glitter tattoos, food trucks, and getting active outdoors.
"It’s great to see Yorkson Community Park finally finished after so many years. Finishing this park was a key priority for our new Council, one of the first projects we funded, to complete this area of the park with new parking, spray park, a turf field and warm-up area, and the best, most accessible playground in all of Langley." – Township of Langley Mayor Eric Woodward.

- Township of Langley’s largest accessible playground
- a highly interactive and accessible spray park
- small plaza spaces and site furnishings
- ping pong and chess tables
