The air handling unit will be replaced at Walnut Grove Community Centre’s fitness center from Tuesday, October 1 to Friday, November 14. We appreciate your patience during this time, as there may be temporary changes in temperature, humidity, and noise levels.
At our fitness centres you can:
- Get an introduction to weight room procedures, rules and equipment usage with a Weight Room Orientation.
- Access cardio and strength equipment, free weights, and space for your floor work.
- Participate in select drop-in fitness classes.
- Have fun and challenge yourself with registered fitness classes.
- Achieve your fitness goals 1-on-1 or with a partner, with a Personal Trainer.
- Find individualized fitness support with Small Group Training.

To book a personal training session: 1. Purchase a personal training package. Pricing for each package is per person. For tandem training sessions, both participants must purchase their own separate tandem training packages. 2. Complete the personal training request form. 3. Complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) and submit this form to personaltraining@tol.ca or come into a community recreation centre to complete the questionnaire.
