Centralized Collection
The Township of Langley uses a three-cart system for centralized recycling:
Download a printable sorting guide available in English, Punjabi, Chinese, and Korean, or use our What Goes Where? tool below to find out how to sort your recycling.
All multi-family residential complexes within the Township are eligible to municipal recycling services. As the recycling service receives annual funding through property taxes, there is no additional charge to participate. The program provides recycling containers. If your multi-family complex is not currently receiving Township recycling service, please contact the Engineering Division at 604-532-7300.
Tote bags for centralized collection
Do you struggle with taking your recyclables down to the waste room? The Township of Langley provides reusable, separated tote bags to properties with centralized municipal recycling collection on request. These tote bags can help residents pre-sort items in their unit before taking them downstairs and emptying the contents into the different carts. Have your building manager call 604-532-7300 to obtain bags for your complex.
