Dog Licences
All dogs living in the Township of Langley must have a dog licence, which must be renewed annually. Licensing helps reunite dogs with their owners and helps fund care for more than 1,400 animals at the LAPS shelter each year, many of whom are in the process of finding a forever home.
The annual licensing period is January 1 to December 31. Renew your dog’s license by February 1 to qualify for a reduced rate.
Since 2021, permanent dog tags have been issued to align with the Township’s zero-waste goals. Retain your dog’s existing tag – new tags are no longer sent out each year.
