Property Tax Deferment Program

If you are unable to pay your property taxes, you may be able to defer them. Refer to the Province of BC website for eligibility requirements and to apply.

To avoid penalty: The following items cannot be deferred and must be completed by the property tax due date (Tuesday, July 2, 2024):

• Pay user fees for water, sewer and garbage (refer to your statement for the amount or contact the Revenue and Tax Collections Department at tax@tol.ca)
• Pay any outstanding property taxes (account must be up to date)
• Claim home owner grant (if applicable) at gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant
