Garbage and Green Cart service changes for residential properties
Township of Langley Solid Waste Management Bylaw 2016 No. 5200 provides for a cart-based semi-automated garbage and organics collection program for residential properties.
Owners of single-family homes, townhomes, rowhomes, or individual mobile homes within complexes receiving municipal collection can request changes to the size of their garbage or Green Cart. Through the application process, additional carts and size exchanges are subject to a $50 per cart administration fee. Changes to annual fees will be applied to property taxes after changes are implemented, based on the size and number of carts at the property.

Please note that the property owner must have a MyTownship account to submit an online application to change service at a property.
If you have moved into a newly-constructed home, are the property owner, and you need carts, please complete New Cart Request application. Tenants may not request new cart delivery:
If your cart(s) is damaged or missing (includes existing homes where carts are missing), please complete the Damaged Cart or Missing Cart applications respectively. There is no charge to inspect/repair/replace a damaged or missing cart if it has been properly stored and secured. Property owners and tenants may complete these requests:
