Sustainability Grant Pilot Program
The application intake for this grant is currently closed.
The Sustainability Grant Pilot Program helps residents and registered non-profits and charities achieve sustainable, climate action-focused projects in the Township of Langley. All residents and eligible organizations are welcome to apply.
About
As part of the Climate Action Strategy, the Sustainability Grant Pilot Program encourages residents and eligible organizations to undertake creative, equitable and community-driven projects that:
- have a positive impact on the environment
- decrease greenhouse gas emissions
- improve community resiliency to climate change
Grants of up to $500 are available for resident-led projects (co-applicant required), while grants of up to $2,000 are available for organization-led projects. Funding for this pilot program is limited. Funds will be awarded based on how well a project meets the eligibility requirements and if/how these requirements are exceeded. The location of the project will also be taken into consideration when awarding grants, with the selection committee preferring to award grants in as many Township neighbourhoods as possible. We thank all those who apply.
