Non-standard Administrative Hours and Service Adjustments, September 30

The Township of Langley wishes to commemorate the history and legacy of residential schools and honour Indigenous communities, families, and survivors by observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Civic Facility and Operations Centre administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, September 30, reopening on Friday, October 1 at 8:00am. Some municipal services, such as curbside collection, will be adjusted.

Curbside Collection

The Township’s contracted waste hauler, Sierra Waste Services Ltd., will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Thursday, September 30.

Similar to other observed holidays, curbside collection services for properties in the Thursday collection zone will shift to Friday, October 1 before returning to its regular collection schedule the following week.

Never miss a collection shift again by signing up for ReCollect notifications via email, Tweet, or phone call.
