Statutory Holiday Closure

The Township of Langley wishes to commemorate the history and legacy of residential schools and honour Indigenous communities, families, and survivors by observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Township of Langley administrative offices will be closed on Friday, September 30. The Civic Facility will reopen to the public on Monday, October 3 at 8:30am.

Service Requests

For non-urgent service requests such as park or trail upkeep or roads maintenance, submit a request online. To report a service emergency or problem that requires immediate attention, call our emergency line at 604-543-6722.

Community and Recreation Centres, and Museum

Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre will be open from 10am to 6pm.

George Preston Recreation Centre’s Township office will be closed.

Otter Co-op Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre is now closed for the season.

W.C. Blair Recreation Centre will be open from 9am to 6pm.

Walnut Grove Community Centre will be open from 8am to 8pm.

Recreation facilities will be open regular hours on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2. Please visit each facility’s webpage for hours of operation.

Langley Centennial Museum will be open on Friday, September 30 from 10am to 4pm for a final chance viewing. The building closes permanently the following day as work gets underway to move the museum collection and displays to their new home at Salishan Place by the River.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Take some time to recognize and reflect on the longstanding effects of the residential school system on Indigenous families and communities. It is a day for redress. It is a day for thoughtfulness and openness to change. Learn more
