Your kids will have a blast in this after school program focused on physical activity, movement, health, and fun.
Active Beyond the Bell runs for two hours after dismissal in the gymnasium of your school, or if your child goes to Alex Hope Elementary or James Kennedy Elementary, a supervised walk to the Walnut Grove Community Centre.
Active Beyond the Bell starts September 20, 2021.
During Kindergarten gradual entry, Active Beyond the Bell starts at its regular time. We do not accommodate early pick ups during gradual entry.
Active Beyond the Bell does not run on non-instructional school days or early dismissal days. Pro-D day and early dismissal camps are available. View and register for camps.
2022 registration opens Monday, November 15, 2021 at 12:00pm for sessions running January - March, 2022.
Register weekly. Daily registration is not available.
Choose the weeks that work best for your family. Register online at tol.ca/recregister or in-person at one of the following centres: Aldergrove Credit Union Community Centre, George Preston Recreation Centre, Walnut Grove Community Centre, or W.C. Blair Recreation Centre.
Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and this program often fills up quickly. Waitlists are available.
Registration numbers will be reviewed the week before each operational week. If minimum registration is not met, adjustments may be made to staffing and/or program offering.
The cost is $13.80 per day, based on a weekly registration. Payment must be paid in full at time of registration; a monthly payment schedule is available.
For the monthly payment option, please contact a Township of Langley Recreation Centre to complete your registration. Monthly payments are due on the first day of each month for registrations within that month. Example: October 1 payment is for October 1 to 31.
