Administration

Administration is responsible for the overall operational implementation of the Township's Arts and Cultural Services Plan. The department works hand in hand with the division providing support and working with community partners.

Community Events, Initiatives, and Projects

The department is responsible for the coordination and management of annual community events, public arts, and grants programs. Staff support volunteer based and non-profit partner groups to helping facilitate significant and beneficial Township initiatives and projects. The department is also responsible for coordinating efforts with community partners and individual artists on public art coordination.

Cultural Programs and Services

The department is responsible for the operation of the Langley Centennial Museum , and the coordination of all programs and services imparted with our heritage. In conjunction with the historical element, the department coordinates the visual and performing arts programs and is the municipality's liaison for the cultural relationships indicative to the Township of Langley. Last, but not least, the department also manages the contractual relationship with the Fraser Valley Regional Library.
