Nestled inside the Willoughby Community Centre on the south side of the Langley Events Centre, Wee Willow Bees has access to the playground as well as use of the surrounding park and fields. Our unique location in such a wonderful facility allows us to use the arena, gymnasium, and other multi-purpose rooms on occasional field trips. The preschool features age appropriate-sized bathrooms and sinks, as well as an art centre, make believe area, coat and cubby area, and learning centres.  We invite you to come and be a part of the Wee Willow Bees family and enjoy all that we have to offer.

Meet the teachers

I’m thrilled to be here for another amazing year. I have been working for the Township since 2008, where I started in the pools teaching aquatics programs. I moved into recreation and taught dance and preschool classes, and that’s when I knew I loved to work with children. I graduated at the University of the Fraser Valley with my Early Childhood Education.

I love coming to work where I’m able to help teach children every day and have fun in the process.

I enjoy seeing the children grow and develop life skills. It’s an incredible feeling to know you’re a part of that experience. I’m excited to provide children with opportunities for open-ended learning where they can explore new materials and make lifetime friends.

I’m so happy to be back teaching at Wee Willow Bees this year. I’ve been in the ECE field for many years and have worked for the Township of Langley for almost three years in preschool and recreation, teaching early learning programs. I have two daughters who I was able to stay home with for their ECE years. I love working with this age group and look forward to coming to school. I’m excited to be able to provide opportunities for children to explore and experiment through play as they learn and discover the world around them. Also, opportunities to be creative, have fun and be successful in their achievements. I have a strong belief in play-based learning and am amazed to see the growth and development in each child as the school year progresses. I’m looking forward to getting to know the children and families at our school. From new experiences to new skills to new friends, it is going to be an incredible year.
