2018 Elections

Nomination packages for Council and School Trustees are now available at the Civic Facility – either in electronic form or paper.

Municipal elections are held every four years to elect a Mayor, eight Councillors and five School Trustees. Those elected on October 20, 2018 will serve in office for four years.

General local elections (and by-elections) are the most direct way for the public to influence their local government, school district or other local governance body by determining the individuals who then make decisions and govern on their behalf following general voting day.

Candidate Nomination Forms:

Fillable nomination forms for Township Council positions and for School Trustees are set out below:

After filling in the forms, they must be printed off and signed by the 2 nominators before bringing them into the Civic Facility for filing after 9am Tuesday, September 4, 2018 and before 4pm Friday, September 14, 2018. Page 2 of document C2 (or SC2) is not required in the Township and is not included.
