Home Owner Grant

Apply for the current year homeowner grant in one of two ways:

  1. Complete and submit the application  online. You will require a ten (10) digit folio and a seven (7) digit access code located on your property tax statement or the Statement of Outstanding Taxes. This option is available from the end of May to December 31.
  2. Complete the application on the bottom of the current year’s Property Tax Statement or Statement of Outstanding Taxes. Mail or deliver the completed application to the Township of Langley Civic Facility, 20338 65 Avenue, Langley BC  V2Y 3J1.

The home owner grant is a provincial program to reduce the burden of residential property taxes. The grant must be applied for annually, if eligible before the due date to avoid penalty. Certain criteria must be met in order to be eligible for the home owner grant.

Apply for the grant even if:

  • You are not paying property taxes at this time;
  • Your bank or other mortgage company pays the property taxes on your behalf;
  • You have not received a Tax Statement or the statement is not in your name.
