Blair Whitmarsh

Councillor Blair Whitmarsh Elected to office in 2014, Councillor Blair Whitmarsh is currently serving his first term as Councillor.

Blair earned his BA degree in Physical Education, and an MBA from Trinity Western University. He also received a Master’s and PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Alberta.

Blair and his family have called Langley home since 1996. He considers Langley a wonderful place to raise a family, and Blair’s desire is to ensure that the community continues to be a better place for everyone. Blair appreciates that Langley is filled with vibrant, community minded people, and exceptional recreational facilities and parks; he is committed to developing a strong and bright future for the residents of the Township.

Professional Career

Blair has been a Professor at Trinity Western University since 1996, and the Dean of the School of Human Kinetics and Athletics at TWU since 2003.
