Blair Whitmarsh

Councillor Blair Whitmarsh

Re-elected to office in 2018, Councillor Blair Whitmarsh is currently serving his second term as a Township of Langley Councillor.

Blair earned his BA degree in Physical Education and an MBA from Trinity Western University.  He also received a Master’s and PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Alberta.

Blair and his family have called Langley home since 1996.  He considers Langley a wonderful place to raise a family and Blair’s desire is to ensure that the community continues to be a better place for everyone. Blair appreciates that Langley is filled with vibrant, community-minded people and exceptional recreational facilities and parks. He is committed to developing a strong and bright future for the residents of the Township.

Professional Career

Blair has been a Professor at Trinity Western University since 1996 and the Dean of the School of Human Kinetics and Athletics at TWU since 2003.
