Airport capability

Langley Regional Airport is open to general aviation including helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. The airport has 3 public Helicopter parking pads, 3 fixed wing itinerant overnight visitor parking spots, and 2 runways.

Pilot information

Langley Regional Airport is certified for public day and night VFR operations:

  • A circling only GPS approach is published with limits of 660 ASL (626 AGL) 
  • Local fire, ambulance and RCMP services are on call to provide emergency response 
  • Weather and flight planning service is available in the Airport Administration Office

Customs and Canpass

Entry between Canada and the USA is permissible at Langley Regional Airport with a CANPASS. Otherwise, local customs ports-of-entry from the United States are available at Boundary Bay Airport and Abbotsford International Airport.

Fuel services

Both Avgas 100LL and Jet A fuel is available. Avgas 100LL fuel is available 24 hours a day via two self-serve automatic dispensers on Apron 1. Both stations are available for fixed wing aircraft. The dispenser located near ‘Helipad C’ is available to helicopters.

Self-serve Avgas dispensers accept the following methods of payment:

Jet A fuel is available by truck and can be obtained by calling 604-360-2306 7 days a week 07:30 - 17:00 local time.

Aircraft tie-downs

There are three itinerant overnight aircraft visitor tie-down spots located on Apron 2, directly in front of the Canadian Museum of Flight. Overnight visitor tie-down is limited to five nights, at a cost of $11.33 (GST included) per night. Visitor parking payment forms and envelopes, for cash and cheque payments, are available via an outdoor kiosk accessible on a 24-hour basis. For longer durations or for alternative payment options, please contact the airport administration office. We also offer free day use only itinerant parking spots directly in front of the terminal building on Apron 1.
