Marie Paddling to Ericsalishan Place by the River is operated by the Township of Langley, with support from the Museum Assistance Program of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Government of British Columbia through the BC Arts Council, and volunteers from the community.

We wish to acknowledge the support of the University of Victoria's CURA program for the research that makes up this website. CURA is the Community-University Research Alliance and is sponsored by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Project researcher Dr. Barbara Winters led this research project, supported by students Debbie Turnbull, Claudia Lorenz, Geoff Carr, Tusa Shea, and Sonia Lochner.

Previous research by Roger Boulet provided a foundation for this work, including his research for a Kilpin exhibit at the Langley Centennial Museum in fall 2001. Grants from the Museum Assistance Program helped to conserve and frame many of these important works, and provide online access to images of the works through the Langley Centennial Museum website.

The cooperation of the descendants of Legh Mulhall Kilpin has contributed significantly to this work, including members of the Mitchell, Rammell, and Illsey families.
