There are five known James basket photos. Another photo is known to have existed, but it was lost in the house fire of the James home in 1965. The photos have been analyzed by several interested parties, and five known baskets have been identified; three owned by Lytton First Nation, and two owned by salishan Place by the River. Other unique family designs have been found in family collections. The flower, bug and bird designs have been identified as being unique to the James family collections.
