Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an important role in the day-to-day activities of the museum. They are the heart and soul of the facility, and we couldn’t provide the high level of programming that we do without them.

Docent led programs

Every year docent volunteers provide museum tours and programs for school children. These volunteer educators, called docents, commit three hours per week for much of the school year to deliver the programs and attend special training programs throughout the year.
