Summer Nights in the Township

Starting in July, join us every week for free and low-cost outdoor events happening throughout the Township!

Concerts at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre every week will showcase talented Canadian musicians from various genres, while outdoor movies will feature family-friendly films.

On Fire Truck Fun Nights at Brookswood Secondary School and Philip Jackman Park, come check out the fire truck, learn about fire safety, try hands-on activities, and meet Township of Langley firefighters and Asher the Fire Dog. Plus, we’ll have inflatables, games, food trucks, a DJ spinning hit music, and more!

• On Thursday, July 11, join us at Philip Jackman Park and be prepared to get wet and wild in a community water fight! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to participate. Bring your water gun or any type of water-dispensing device to soak your ‘opponents!’  Water balloons are not permitted.
• On Thursday, August 8 at Brookswood Secondary School, Fire Truck Fun Night will feature a foam party!*

• Everyone can enjoy the unique experience of our dive-in theatre! Bring your inflatable floatie and float around Breaker Bay or relax poolside while watching a family-friendly movie on the big screen.
• Adults (ages 19+) can experience the waterpark in a kid-free atmosphere while enjoying local craft beer and wine at our Sip ‘n Dip events.
• Youth, ages 13 to 18, will take over the waterpark for two nights where they can have fun in a kid-free and parent-free environment. 
• Plus, new this year are two Family Night events where adults and children can spend time together and create lasting memories!

2024 Summer Nights in the Township Events

Pets are welcome to attend the concerts, movie nights, and Fire Truck Fun Nights! Please ensure your pet is leashed and that you clean up after your pet. And don't forget to bring water so your pet stays hydrated.

The foam that will be used at the foam party is a natural, surfactant blend, foam powder solution that is mixed with water to create bubbles. It has no fragrances, no dyes, no animal ingredients, and no phosphates added. The solution does not cause harm to eyes, skin or the environment.

The Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Community Centre

Advance online registration is required for all events listed below (no drop-ins). Registration opens seven days in advance of each event for both Township and non-Township residents.
