The Township of Langley offers a variety of grants and incentive programs to enhance life in our community.

Community associations
Community Association Grant |
Grants of up to $1,000 are available to one community association in each of the seven defined communities (Aldergrove; Brookswood/Fernridge; Fort Langley; Murrayville; Walnut Grove; Willoughby; Willowbrook). Applicants must be a registered non-profit organization with a valid society certificate, and must have a minimum of 25 members who reside in the community that an association represents. Community halls
Capital Improvement Grant |
Available to bona fide community halls that exist solely for the use of community residents and are owned and operated as a Community Hall. Grants are provided on a matching basis equal to 50 percent of actual costs to a maximum of $10,000 for each grant. The work must not be completed before the grant application is approved. Community programs, projects, events and festivals
Community Grant |
Available annually to registered non-profit groups and organizations serving the Township of Langley and its residents. Applications for funding of special events/projects must demonstrate the benefit to the Township or a majority of its residents, must involve residents and should be held in the municipality. These special events/projects should promote the identity of Langley and enhance the quality of life for its residents. The maximum grant in this category is $2,750. Major Festival Grant |
Available to registered non-profit organizations for the purpose of staging major events and festivals. Grants may be available to community-based groups located in the Township of Langley who have staged a community event within the municipality in the prior year that attracted an attendance of ten thousand plus residents/visitors. Minor Festival Grant |
Available to registered non-profit organizations for the purpose of staging minor events and festivals that do not meet the criteria for the Major Festivals Grant. For more information, email communitygrants@tol.ca. Applications for the 2025 Community Grant Programs are closed. |
Parade Grant |
Available to Township of Langley non-profit groups staging parades within the municipality. For more information, email communitygrants@tol.ca. Applications for the 2025 Community Grant Programs are closed. |
Heritage buildings
Heritage Building Incentive Program |
Assists with costs associated with the stabilization and exterior restoration, repair and maintenance of eligible heritage buildings in the Township. |
Sports
Sport Hosting Incentive Program |
Designed to encourage Langley's sport organizations, through limited financial assistance, to host provincial, western Canadian, national and international amateur championship events within the Township. |
