
Blair Whitmarsh
Blair Whitmarsh served on Township of Langley Council from 2014–2022 and is now beginning his ninth year on Council.
He holds a BA in Physical Education and an MBA from Trinity Western University, as well as a Master’s and PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Alberta.
Blair and his family have called Langley home since 1996. He believes Langley is an exceptional place to raise a family and is committed to ensuring the community continues to grow in a positive, sustainable, and inclusive way. He values the Township’s vibrant, community-minded residents and its outstanding sport, recreation, and arts facilities. Blair remains dedicated to building a strong and prosperous future for all Township residents.

Professional career
Blair has been a Professor at Trinity Western University since 1996 and has served as the Dean of the School of Human Kinetics and Athletics since 2003.
