Intersectoral Collaboration

The Township’s Social Sustainability Strategy recognizes the importance of intersectoral collaboration in achieving its sustainability goals. Intersectoral collaboration refers to the ways different groups and sectors of society work together toward a common goal.

To support intersectoral collaboration, the Township developed an assessment tool to help new collaborations to set themselves up for success, and existing collaborations to evaluate their effectiveness and impact. While the assessment tool is intended to help strengthen intersectoral action in Langley Township, the tool can be used by any collaboration in any community.
