Regular Council meeting
At the Regular Council meeting, members discuss and vote on issues before the municipality. Proceedings publicly address staff information reports, committee minutes, correspondence to Council, bylaws, policy, and the general affairs of local governance. Meetings commence at 1:30pm Monday.

Closed meetings of Council
Council meets to the exclusion of the public, as allowed by law. Topics are generally related to issues relating to legal matters, land, and labour issues.
Regular Council - public hearings
A Public Hearing is held, as deemed necessary, to allow the public to make representation on matters pertaining to the following:
- Official Community Plan Bylaws
- Zoning Bylaws (not required if consistent with the Official Community Plan)
- Land Use Contracts
- Heritage Revitalization Agreements and Designations
- Temporary Use Permits
