Active Beyond the Bell
Active Beyond the Bell for the 2025/2026 school year starts on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Help prepare your child to be active and healthy for life!
Children will enjoy this after school program focused on physical activity, fundamental movement skills, health, and fun.
Active Beyond the Bell runs for two hours after dismissal in the gymnasium of your school, or if your child goes to Alex Hope Elementary or James Kennedy Elementary, an Active Beyond the Bell instructor will provide a supervised walk to Walnut Grove Community Centre where the program will take place.
During Kindergarten gradual entry, Active Beyond the Bell starts at its regular time. We cannot accommodate early pick ups during gradual entry.
Active Beyond the Bell does not operate during winter and spring breaks, non-instructional days and statutory holidays. School's Out day camps may be available at Township of Langley recreation facilities on non-instructional days. View and register for camps.
If your child requires 1:1 support at school, the same level of support is required to participate in Active Beyond the Bell. Support workers are to be acquired by the family and require a Police Information Check to be completed a minimum of two weeks prior to the first day of your child attending Active Beyond the Bell. Please visit the front desk at one of our recreation facilities to obtain the paperwork. Please email ABTB@tol.ca for more information.
