Recreation Account Setup Guide
| How to setup a new recreation registration account online |
| Signing up for a new Township of Langley Recreation Registration account can be completed by following the steps below. |

Visit tol.ca/recregister, or from the Township of Langley home page, tol.ca, navigate to the recreation registration web page by clicking the Parks and Recreation tab on the menu bar. Click the blue Recreation Registration box.
Tip: a shortcut to our recreation registration page is by typing tol.ca/recregister in your browser. |

Scroll down the Recreation Registration web page until you see the Access your registration account heading and click the Sign in to your account button.

A new web page will open. Click the sign up now button that is highlighted by the red box below.

A new prompt will appear. Type your email address into the bar marked Email address.

| Step 5 |

Click the ‘Send verification code’ button.
|

The following screen will appear. Do not close this window.

|
Open a new window on your internet browser. Check your email. Open the email from the Township of Langley to view the verification code.

Return to the account setup browser window. Enter the verification code in the box highlighted below. Click the Verify code button.

Create a password for your Recreation Registration account. Enter this password into the boxes that appear, as indicated by the arrows. Click the Create button.

Enter your first name and last name. Click the Submit button.

To begin using your Recreation Registration account, it will need to be activated by a recreation staff member. Note: Expect a response within five (5) business days if you are providing this information by email or online form.

Visit or call your local recreation facility, Civic Facility, or email recaddress@tol.ca and provide the following information:
- your first and last name
- the first and last name of all household family members
- birthdates of each family member (including year)
- home address
- phone number
- email address used to set up your account in the online registration system
Account activation can also be completed by submitting a form on the Township of Langley website.
- If you are a non-Township resident, you can provide the above information through an online Non-Township Resident Account Setup Form.
- If you reside in the Township, you will need to verify your address in person or through our Online Township Address Verification Form. Acceptable forms of ID are the most current version of:
- BC Driver’s Licence
- BC ID
- property tax statement
- BC Hydro bill
- any utility bill that has your full name and address
Once your registration account is set up you will be able to:
- Register online anytime for programs and activities.
- View drop-in activities and schedules.
- Purchase an Active Pass to enjoy unlimited access to a variety of activities.
- Search for programs and activities by categories such as age, location, and keyword.
- Add programs and activities to your personal calendar so you don't miss a class.
- Securely store payment information on your account.
- Keep track of your waitlisted programs.
- Withdraw from your program or activity.
