The Langley Centennial Museum, located in the historic village of Fort Langley, is owned and operated by the Township of Langley.
The museum opened in 1958. After more than 50 years of offering exhibits, programs, and other cultural and heritage services, we continue to grow and expand our role in the Township of Langley.

This document guides the conduct for posting comments on Township of Langley websites and social media platforms. The Township of Langley provides websites with social capabilities as in present on social media so that the public can have an opportunity to be part of an online conversation, to be informed of Township information and to have a positive experience.
a) Websites and social media platforms are provided as a forum for community conversation. All users must be respectful of others, especially when disagreeing with others. Users must also be courteous to everyone - even those whose opinions you may disagree with. We encourage healthy debate, but please express your opinion about a person’s ideas, not about them personally.
b) Users must abstain from defamatory speech. Personal remarks, about other users, including negative remarks about their age, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, intelligence, character, appearance, health, mental health, education, or any other personal characteristic are not appropriate and will not be tolerated. The Township of Langley will be actively monitoring the site, but we may not look at every conversation or media posted. However, if we notice something—or you report something—that we believe violates the Terms of Use or this Code of Conduct, we will take appropriate action which action may include: removing postings, locking postings, providing a warning, suspending usage to maintain the integrity of the website or social media platform, or informing law enforcement. Remember that these guidelines are intended to provide a safe forum for all community participants. These guidelines are a work in progress, and may be changed at any time by the Township so please check back often to make sure you understand the expectations of use of the Township’s websites and social media platforms.
