Overview
Help define the future of 200 Street. The Township of Langley is undertaking a corridor planning process for 200
Street to define a future vision for this emerging transit-oriented corridor. We want to develop the vision with your input and feedback.
The 200 Street Corridor is designated for more intensive transit-oriented development in both municipal and regional land use plans. It is envisioned that the 200 Street Corridor would be served by Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) over the shorter term, with the potential for Light Rail Transit (LRT) or SkyTrain service at some future date.
The goal of 200 Street 2040 is to establish a vision for the 200 Street Corridor as a sustainable transit-oriented destination, and to establish corridor-level policies and guidelines to guide the realization of that vision over the next 20 years.
The 200 Street corridor stretches 800 metres on either side of 200 Street, from the Trans-Canada Highway south to 68 Avenue, for 4.5 kilometres as shown on the map below.
