Supervises, coordinates, plans and schedules work of contractors and monitors work for adherence to municipal standards.

- Minimum three years of direct Engineering experience in a municipal government, consulting company or infrastructure contracting company; or, equivalent combination

- Engineering/Building Technologist Diploma or equivalent training and experience in the industry
- Minimum five years of direct Engineering experience in a municipal government or consulting company; or, equivalent combination

Superintendent in Parks Operations:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma and Trades Qualifications in a related field or equivalent training and experience in the industry
- Minimum five years of direct Parks experience in a municipal government or organization providing Parks and Cemetery/Parks and Open Spaces management and maintenance services; or, equivalent combination

Superintendent in Roads Operations:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist or equivalent
- Minimum five years of direct Engineering experience in a municipal government or consulting company; or, equivalent combination

Superintendent in Utilities Operations:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist or equivalent
- Minimum seven years of direct Engineering experience in a municipal government or consulting company; or, equivalent combination
