Why does the address not appear in the property search bar?

Enter less information—start with the house number only. The system will automatically display matching addresses.
Use Canada Post abbreviations (e.g., AVE, ST, CRT).

Why do I get an error when uploading a document?

How do I make changes before submitting my application?

Use the green Edit buttons on the Confirmation page to go back and make updates.
Avoid using your browser’s Back button—this may cause the system to reset and require you to start over.

Why am I getting an error when uploading plans?

What’s the difference between residential and multi-family classifications?

Residential: Up to four dwelling units (e.g., duplex, row house), if the property is not zoned multi-family.
Multi-Family: Five or more dwelling units (excluding row houses).

What is a MyTownship account?

A MyTownship account gives you access to the Township’s online services, including building permit applications, inspection requests, and more.

How do I link my application to MyTownship?

You must have a MyTownship account to submit a building permit application.
When you submit your application via eApply, it is automatically linked to your MyTownship account.
