
Fraser Highway Widening
Overview
Township of Langley Council has approved $25.9 million for the next phase of Fraser Highway widening between the 24300 and 24600 block.
Construction of this phase of Fraser Highway will include four-laning, shared multi-use paths, street lighting, street trees, bus pullouts and a new signalized intersection with left turn bays.
Updates
May 2026
This road work is now completed.
February 2026
Road work is substantially complete. Minor construction continues with property tie-ins and landscape planting along the Highway scheduled for late winter and early spring 2026.
November 2025
Construction of the road subbase, base asphalt, storm sewer, dry watermain, curb and gutter and signalized intersection have been completed. Current construction includes completion of retaining walls, street lighting, BC Hydro and TELUS pole relocates, preparation of multi-use paths and sidewalks. Landscape and tree pits, paving the multi-use paths, top lift of road asphalt and boulevard infilling will follow.
