Willoughby Community Park Playground Upgrades

Overview

The Township of Langley is replacing the ‘pyramid-climber’ and safety surface at the Willoughby Community Park playground. The new play components are designed to integrate with and complement the existing play equipment. Children of all ages and abilities will have opportunities to develop their balance, agility and upper body strength, while stimulating cognitive and social development in an inclusive and interactive setting.

A new safety surface will be applied on the ground throughout the play area.

The playground will be temporarily closed for construction with completion expected in late 2025.

October 2025

Playground upgrades are now complete. The new ‘pyramid-climber’ structure is open for kids to explore, and a new safety surface has been applied on the ground throughout the play area.
