Willoughby Community Park Rugby Expansion

Overview

The southeast field at Willoughby Community Park, closest to R.E. Mountain Secondary School will be expanded to accommodate rugby. Areas immediately surrounding the field will be improved to increase accessibility and create a better spectator experience. A new synthetic turf surface will be installed.

February 2026

A new synthetic turf surface now covers an expanded field area, that is open to host rugby games and practices, as well as soccer and lacrosse. Accessibility and spectator area improvements are also now complete.
