Irrevocable Letter of Credit

Township of Langley's Irrevocable Letter of Credit required form is for works and services installed in conjunction with development applications, soil deposit applications, and development cost charges. This form is also necessary for competitive bid requirements.

Instructions

1. Fill in all required fields on the Letter of Credit template and save.
2. Email your Letter of Credit (LOC) template to loc@tol.ca for review, prior to finalization.
3. After review, Finance staff will advise via email if any changes are required, or if the LOC can be issued through your financial institution.
4. After you receive approval from Finance, have your financial institution issue the LOC and print on their letterhead.
   • Letter of Credit must be produced on the financial institution's coloured letterhead using the approved template.
5. Send issued Letter of Credit to the Township of Langley Finance Division for processing.

Deviations from this format and content may result in amendments and delays in processing.
